Special Session on IPTV Towards Seamless Infotainment

IPTV (Internet Protocol Television), enabled by the advance of a collection of computing, networking, and media processing technologies, provides a new entertainment platform in the world of digital revolution.  TV paradigm is changing. The interaction between users and content takes new meanings.  A large number of operators and vendors are making initial attempts to make IPTV related services available to consumer communities. As an emerging service, many design and deployment challenges arises, such as content management, high quality video, system scalability and reliability, service delivery architecture, availability and interoperability of IPTV services, management cost reduction, new IPTV feature-rich services, testbed for IPTV service or performance evaluation etc.

The goal of this session is to provide a forum for engineers, architects, and researchers to share knowledge and innovation in IPTV related services. We solicit papers covering various topics of interest that include (but are not limited to) the following:

* Architecture of IPTV systems
* Innovative IPTV Services
* IPTV Service Delivery Architectures
* IPTV Standards Activities (e.g. ATIS-IIF, ITU-T FG IPTV, DVB,
H.264/MPEG-4, etc.)
* IPTV Multimedia Home Networking
* Interactive TV Architectures
* Media Streaming for IPTV
* Personalized and Interactive User Experience for IPTV
* Content Management for IPTV
* Deployment of IPTV Services
* Testbed for IPTV Studies
* Next Generation TV Services
* New Trend of IPTV

Submission Instructions
Authors are invited to submit regular technical papers or position papers. The position papers should present novel technologies at an early stage of development or share future vision. All submissions
should describe original, previously unpublished research, not currently under review by another conference or journal. Manuscripts should not exceed five (5) pages in double-column IEEE format. Please submit the paper through
